Smarter Structures: Our Projects

Take a look at how we’ve redefined cast in situ concrete construction across industries. From towering commercial builds to bespoke residential spaces, our projects are a testament to innovation, precision, and pushing boundaries.

Auckland Airport – Taxiway Mike Drainage

StructureTech were brought into the project to deliver 2.2km of Gatic Slot drains. Gatic slot drains are extremely difficult to build as a large void is retained under the concrete surface. This void ultimately drains the rain water from the entire hardstand. The tolerance on this work is tighter than general concrete elements – 3mm tolerance.

Raglan Walkway - STAGE 1

StructureTech provided a design and build solution to the Waikato District Council for an old pathway. This project has given the Raglan community and all their visitors safe access between the town centre and the campground. Being able to strengthen a 50 year old seawall and provide larger and safer infrastructure to this project was our key to success.

Sky City Production Kitchen

StructureTech delivered a new unbonded topping slab inside the heart of the Sky City precinct. All floors had to be delivered to the highest standard as the floors are used 18 hours a day to produce food for the whole of Sky City. We delivered a great result under a tight timeframe with limited access for machinery and materials.

Raglan Boat Ramp

StructureTech provided a design build solution to Waikato District Council to make good and extend the life of the popular boat ramp at the end of Wallis Street. All our works were co-ordinated around the tides and ensuring the community still had access to this asset during construction.

Bowden Road

StructureTech delivered the Warehouse foundations and office slabs to the project. Overcoming the existing structure and services from the recently demolished warehouse were key to the success of the project.

StructureTech installed heavy structural pad foundations within an existing warehouse to support new printing presses. The works were completed with precision to carry significant loads and ensure long-term structural stability.

StructureTech completed a complex restoration on the southern side of the Raglan bridge, where the existing walkway and seawall were failing. The project was finished with a new fit-for-purpose walkway and stainless-steel handrail, matching the earlier stage completed the previous year.

StructureTech retrofitted a new freezer and transition zone into an existing warehouse to support the growth of a logistics company. The project featured FM2 flat floors for high-performance operations, integrated glycol piping layers, and full thermal insulation to ensure efficiency and reliability. The upgraded facility provides the client with a robust, future-ready asset to meet expanding demand.

Horopito Street

StructureTech delivered a full upgrade to an outdated office, transforming it into a modern, accessible workspace. The project included a new concrete slab to support upgraded plumbing, construction of a new elevator shaft for full wheelchair access, and an extension of the floor area to maximise usable space.
